Celebrating, sharing and learning about interesting teaching, learning and assessment practices

There are numerous interesting teaching, learning and assessment practices which go on within departments and institutions but are not known about by others even those teaching on the same programme. This Swap Shop is an interactive workshop that fosters the sharing of practices, ideas and experiences about teaching, learning and assessment or a particular topic. After setting the context of the workshop each delegate will have 5 minutes to outline their practice, idea or experience to the 2-3 other colleagues on their table and 5 minutes to answer questions. A plenary event will follow two rounds of ‘swapping’. By the end of the workshop you will have shared your ideas and obtained some insights into how your practice could be improved and also picked up several more ideas for inclusion in your teaching.
